WOOD VENETIAN BLINDS
- As with any wood product, excess moisture can warp or discolour the wood, even though the wood is sealed. Use a clean soft dust cloth, feather duster, or vacuum brush to wipe off dust. Wood preservatives are often permitted to maintain wood's natural lustre.
- To dust, tilt slats up, dust, then tilt slats down (but not so the blinds are full closed). Clean with a cloth or vacuum brush. Clean from side to side, following the direction of the slats. Do not wash!
TECWOOD VENETIAN BLINDS
- One of the great advantages of faux wood blinds is how easy they are to clean. Simply use a soft dust cloth, feather duster, or a vacuum brush to remove dust effortlessly.
- For dusting, tilt the slats upward and dust, then tilt them downward—without fully closing—and repeat. Use a soft cloth or vacuum brush, moving side to side along the slats. Avoid washing the blinds.
- Gently spot clean with a mild detergent and warm water using a slightly damp cloth, then blot dry with a clean towel.
ALUMINIUM VENETIAN BLINDS
- Aluminium blinds have a smooth surface, making them easy to clean. For dusting, use a soft cloth, vacuum brush, feather duster, or any gentle cleaning tool.
- Tilt the slats upward to dust, then tilt them downward—without fully closing—and continue cleaning. Use a cloth or vacuum brush, moving side to side along the slats' direction. Do not wash the blinds.
- To clean your blinds, use a mild detergent with a sponge or damp cloth dipped in warm water. For deeper cleaning, you can remove the blinds and soak them in a bathtub filled with soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, then either dry with a cloth or leave them open to air dry.
VERTICAL BLINDS
- Dust regularly with a vacuum cleaner brush or a clean soft cloth. Spot clean stains using a mild detergent in warm water, then blot dry. Do not clean or immerse fabric in water.
